Our Story
The Herbalist was founded by Kellie Blair to restore human connection with the natural world and to promote wellbeing through attentive botanical care. From its inception, the brand has prioritised plant stewardship and holistic health, marrying reverence for nature with practical, everyday wellbeing.
Kellie’s approach is grounded in formal training and clinical experience. She completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Herbal Medicine) in 2009 and has worked in clinical and integrative pharmacy settings, bringing evidence‑informed practice to every aspect of her work. This clinical foundation ensures The Herbalist’s formulations prioritise safety and respect botanical efficacy.
After returning to the Surf Coast, Kellie established The Herbalist to apply clinical insight to accessible botanical formulations. Each product is developed with holistic intent—designed to be gentle, effective and suited to everyday life—while reflecting the natural environment and the brand’s commitment to responsible practice.
